Popeye is a sweet tricolor Shih Tzu male who has a handicap in the sense that his brain does not always connect to his motor skills. This makes him walk a little funny at time, but it is seldom noticeable. There is nothing that can be done for it but it does not impair him in any way.   He is house trained, loves to cuddle and is a great companion dog ...a favorite at the rescue.   He is 3 yrs. old, loves toys and bonds quickly with his humans.  We feel that Popeye should be in a home where he is the only dog.   
He came in terribly matted and had to be shaved down, but his coat in coming in beautifully, and is very soft to the touch.​
