Noah and Hunter
Meet Noah and Hunter (a very bonded pair)...
This adorable pair was dumped in a canyon off the 805 & Home Ave. and on their own for almost 3 weeks.
A good Samaritan who lived in the area reached out to us for help in rescuing them. She told us that she had been trying to catch them for weeks. They were frightened, extremely matted and emaciated. Her attempts to feed them were failed and coyote and rattlesnake sightings are common in and outside of this canyon.
Time was running out and we knew we needed to help!
We recruited a group of volunteers (including two young boys named Noah and Hunter) to save them.
None of us were prepared for what we saw as we drove into the area... How could someone be so cruel?
Many tears were shed on that day... Tears of sadness and tears of joy.
All that matters is that we saved this deserving pair!
They say every picture tells a story...
Once frightened and discarded like trash and now beautiful, loving and loved.
Longing for a PATIENT, loving, forever home!
They are crate trained (sleep together) great on a leash, good with children (8 yrs &older) and enjoy playing with other dogs.
Noah is a black & white Havanese-x (he looks like a mini sheepdog), approx 2yrs old.
Hunter a tan &white Jack Russell Terrier-x, approx 1 yr old.
Both weigh approximately 15lbs, are neutered, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and licensed.
